Who We Are

John J. Caponigro, DPM, FACFAS, FACFAOM

Dr. Caponigro earned a Bachelor’s degree in Biology at St. John’s University; and received a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine at The New York College of Podiatric Medicine.  Post-Doc, he completed a two year residency in Podiatric medicine and surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, an affiliate of Weill Cornell University. He completed his training in New Jersey, at Saddle Brook Surgical Center, where he specialized in reconstructive foot and ankle surgery. Currently Dr. Caponigro is board certified in Foot Surgery and Podiatric Orthopedics and Medicine.

Dr. Samuel Adegboyega

Dr. Samuel Adegboyega (Dr Sam) earned his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University/New Jersey Institute of technology (NJIT)/UMDNJ in Biology, Pre-Med and Medical Technology. He then pursued his long time goal of becoming a doctor at New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where he earned a doctorate in Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. He completed extensive residency training in advanced reconstructive forefoot, rearfoot, and trauma surgery at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, South Nassau Communities Hospital, Flushing Hospital, and New York Hospital Queens, an academic affiliate of Weil Medical College of Cornell University and also completed a mini-fellowship course in microsurgery.

He is currently Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) and one of the surgical faculties at NYCPM/clinical instructor at Lincoln Hospital Bronx NY and chief of podiatry, department of orthopedics at Harlem Hospital. He is licensed in both New Jersey and New York.

Dr Sam is privileged at Hackensack University Medical Center, East Orange General Hospital, soon to be privileged at St. Mary and St Joseph Hospital, NJ.

He is one of the medical record board members at EOGH

He enjoys podiatry and offer to his patients vast knowledge and excellent clinical skills as it relates to surgery, orthopedics, wound care, primary are and sport medicine.
