VersaJet Exact – Hydrosurgery System

Versajet is Effective – Clean wounds promote more rapid wound healing

The innovative Versajet™ Hydrosurgery system is a specialised powered surgical tool designed to improve care for patients undergoing wound debridement. Enables surgeon to precisely target damaged tissue and spare viable tissue, Provides the control to hold targeted tissue during irrigation and excision, Offers multiple power settings for controlled excision around delicate tissue.

V.A.C. Freedom® Therapy

“Vacuum Assisted ClosureTM Therapy canbe applied to a wide variety of wounds, improving the quality of life of our patients.”
Louis C. Argenta, MD, and Michael J. Morykwas, PhD, USA

A lightweight and portable V.A.C. Freedom Therapy unit in conjunction with the V.A.C. Advanced Dressings promotes fast and effective wound healing, in order for patients to participate in an active lifestyle while continuing the negative pressure wound therapy.V.A.C.® Therapy has been used effectively in treating thousands of wounds of different aetiologies in all care settings. Clinicians prescribe V.A.C.® Therapy for many chronic, acute, sub-acute and traumatic wounds, – in the hospital, extended care facility, and in home care.

Medical Radio Frequency – Stryker Medical

Offers patients a non-surgical, outpatient alternative to help alleviate pain and improve quality of life. The Stryker RF Generator offered the industry’s first user friendly, full-touch screen. Our commitment to provide physicians with advanced tools and techniques for reducing patient pain resulted in further innovations. The new Stryker MultiGen is the only radiofrequency generator on the market able to handle up to 4 lesions simultaneously and with independent control. With multiple options for customizing procedures, MultiGen also features software safety checks, self-grounding needles, and monopolar nitinol electrodes. Each are industry benchmarks and all are exclusive to Stryker.

GPS® III Blood Platelet Separation System

bergenfamilyfootcare

From a small volume of the patient’s own blood taken at the point of care, the GPS® III System efficiently captures the majority of the patient’s platelets. The patent-pending GPS® III System buoy is tuned to the density between platelets and red blood cells. Under centrifugal force, the buoy will “float” within the tube to the interface point, collecting and trapping the platelet rich layer. Regardless of the hematocrit of the patient, the GPS® III System can automatically collect a consistent, high platelet count for each patient.

Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy

eswt_bergenfamilyfootcare

What is ESWT? Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy ESWT Cures: • Plantar Fasciitis (heel spurs) • Achilles Tendonitis • Tennis Elbow • Shoulder TendonitisThe effects of ESWT are best documented in areas of changes in tissue density, such as those where a tendon attaches to a bone (enthesiopathies) and where a bone attaches to a ligament (desmopathies). For this reason, it is very effective for painful connective tissue in the foot and heels. Additionally, ESWT gives new hope by relieving pain, eliminating the risk factors associated with surgery and allowing people to resume their normal lives.

Debridement ultrasonic surgical system

The Misonix SonicOne O.R. System, now with SonicVac (as shown above) is an innovative ultrasonic surgical debridement system that allows surgeons to address the challenges chronic wounds present to them, the patient, and the health-care system. SonicOne O.R. establishes a new standard in surgical wound bed preparation, an essential first step in the wound healing process.

Top-Down Wound Debridement Means Better Outcomes

SonicOne O.R. utilizes ultrasonic technology in the form of a debridement modality which provides safe and effective removal of all nonviable tissue while safely preserving healthy structures. Sharp and non-distinct debridement techniques often result in inadvertent resection of viable tissue planes. The precision available with the SonicOne O.R. allows for surgical debridement layer by layer from superficial to deep while protecting underlying viable tissues.

Focused Aspiration of Soft Tissue

Tenex

The innovative FAST™ Technique— Fasciotomy and Surgical Tenotomy—is a gentle method for percutaneous cutting and removal of tissue and restoration of natural tendon and soft tissue function. The FAST Technique utilizing the  TX1™ Tissue Removal System can be used to address the most common areas for tendon and soft tissue injuries including:

  • Lateral and medial epicondyle
  • Patellar tendon
  • Rotator cuff
  • Plantar fascia
  • Achilles tendon

Based on technology developed in collaboration with the Mayo Clinic, FAST combines conventional ultrasonic imaging for visualization with the advanced TX1 Tissue Removal System.

Tendon treatment

The TX1 MicroTip simultaneously cuts and debrides diseased tendon or other soft tissue in various musculoskeletal structures. This video demonstrates the removal of pathologic tissue in the lateral epicondyle of the elbow.

Quick and Minimally Invasive

The FAST Technique enables doctors to provide their patients with a rapid and precise option for removing pathologic soft tissue without an open surgical procedure.

  • Perform under local anesthetic with patient completely awake
  • Percutaneous insertion of TX1 MicroTip
  • Requires only a nurse or technician to assist with system controls
  • Tiny microinsertion minimizes infection risk
  • Treatment performed in 15 minutes or less
  • Tiny microincision (3 mm) closed with an adhesive bandage
  • Anticipated patient recovery time is approximately 6 weeks for return to normal activity levels
